'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League return

Kane marks his hundredth goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is at the moment two years through the four-year deal he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the summer of 2023.

The veteran forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which represented the maiden important trophy of his notable career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he earlier was, and would certainly consider prolonging his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of extending longer, I could definitely see that," he commented.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so goes and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the speediest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, attaining the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."

Future Prospects

  • Ongoing success with Bayern Munich remains Kane's main focus
  • The possibility of a Premier League return has considerably decreased
  • New contract talks could start in the near future
  • Kane's outstanding goal-scoring form continues to astound
